Looking Ahead: Hitchin Town

Jon Underwood has the latest news on the Rebels squad ahead of tomorrow's match against Hitchin.

04/11/16

We look forward to tomorrow's game at Arbour Park and what we expect will be another competitive and entertaining game against Hitchin.

Having finished third last season, Mark Burke's side currently sit fourth following an impressive run of 11 games unbeaten. They haven't changed an awful lot from last season so there form is not a surprise to us and we know this will be a close game.

After a quieter week this week with no midweek game the squad is starting to look a little stronger again. Lewis Putman and Gavin James both completed the full session last night so will provide further attacking options and Gurkan Gokmen also trained and is close to being involved again.

On the negative side Paul Stonehouse still has concerns with his hamstring and Josh Jackman is still struggling a little with a foot injury that he picked up last weekend.

Two who will definitely miss out are Mark Nisbet, who is suspended and Lee Barney, who began light training last night.

We will assess a few of the 'question marks' prior to the game and the squad will then be chosen from the following 19 players:

Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Josh Jackman, Nathan Smart, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, Brad Hewitt, Lee Togwell, Simon Dunn, Nathan Webb, Adrian Sear, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Gurkan Gokmen, Lewis Putman, Charlie Moone, Elijah Adebayo, Gavin James.
