Looking Ahead: Banbury United

Slough look forward to a big week of league action, starting with a home game against Banbury United on Tuesday evening.

28/11/16

After a disappointing exit in the FA Trophy on Saturday we look forward to a big week for us in the league with important home games against Banbury and Frome.

Banbury continue to have a decent season after an excellent start which included the narrow 1-0 defeat that we suffered at their place in the opening week of the season. They have an experienced manager and a talented side and we are expecting a hard fought game.

We need to rediscover the form that took us to the top of the table, particularly at Arbour Park, and we are all determined to put things right after Saturday.

We welcome back Simon Dunn and James Dobson from suspension but unfortunately Nathan Webb will be missing due to work commitments.

We remain without Mark Nisbet who is suspended as well as Gavin James and Lee Barney who are injured, whilst Dan Hicks will undergo a fitness test prior to the match. Gav trained on Saturday and is finally making some progress with his thigh injury, which is positive news.

Squad: Mark Scott, Nathan Smart, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, Josh Jackman, Lee Togwell, Simon Dunn, Adrian Sear, Warren Harris, Lewis Putman, James Dobson, Gurkan Gokmen, Elijah Adebayo, Charlie Moone.
