Looking Ahead: Kettering Town

Neil Baker provides an update ahead of the home match against Kettering Town and other festive activities taking place at Arbour Park.

16/12/16

After a little break, we return to league action with one of the toughest games you can get against a very good Kettering side.

Although they have not quite hit the heights they were probably expecting this season, they have now found their form and are in the middle of a good run.

We would be hopeful of a good crowd as Kettering will also be well supported, so will be great to get as many people as possible down to support the lads.

In terms of team news, Warren Harris will not be fit after sustaining a slight ankle injury at training Tuesday, also Lewis Putman did not finish training Thursday and may also be a doubt.

Mark Scott will be fit to take a place in the team, and we will also welcome recent signing Chris Flood to the squad.

It is highly likely that Josh Jackman will play for Kingstonian and Gurkan Gokmen for Ascot United on Saturday to continue to get minutes.

Squad from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Guy Hollis, Paul Stonehouse, Mark Nisbet, Dan Hicks, Nathan Smart, Nathan Webb, Lee Togwell, Simon Dunn, James Dobson, Lewis Putman, Charlie Moone, Gavin James, Chris Flood and Elijah Adebayo.

* Come and get in the festive spirit with us on Saturday as we welcome Kettering Town to Arbour Park. We will also have mince pies and mulled wine amongst other Christmas treats, as well as carol singers to get everyone in the Christmas spirit!

We are also collecting donations towards our Christmas Toy Appeal at this game. Please help us put a smile on a child’s face at Wexham Park Hospital this festive season. For further details, click this link.
