Looking Ahead: Hayes & Yeading United

Neil Baker provides squad news ahead of the trip to Holloways Park on Tuesday.

26/12/16

Hopefully everyone has had their fair share of turkey and all the trimmings, and will be looking forward to getting back to our old stomping ground for a tough local derby against Hayes & Yeading.

Hayes have not been in great form recently, however current form tends to be thrown out the window in these types of games, and with the new management team they have in charge it is only a matter of time before they start picking up points, so we will have to be on our guard.

In terms of squad news, we have one or two concerns, with Guy Hollis struggling due to a shoulder injury, and Nathan Smart with a knee injury - however we are hopeful both will come through a fitness test.

Simon Dunn, Paul Stonehouse and Chris Flood, who all missed the MK Dons game due to minor knocks, all trained on Thursday and will be fine, plus we expect Warren Harris to take his place in the squad after missing the last two games.

Nathan Webb will be missing due to the change in date of the fixture - he had booked the 26th off work, and when it was changed was unable to change his day off - and Gurkan Gokmen is also injured.

The squad will be picked from the following 17 players:

Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Josh Jackman, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, Mark Nisbet, Paul Stonehouse, James Dobson, Lewis Putman, Warren Harris, Simon Dunn, Lee Togwell, Charlie Moone, Chris Flood, Charlie Mpi and Gavin James.
