The U14s were the only team to brave the elements this weekend with all other games being postponed.
The U14s started the year as they finished 2016, with a well deserved 3-1 away win. Gerrards Cross started brightly in the wet and cold conditions and scored an early goal.
Despite the early setback the boys got in to stride and created chance after chance. How it was still 1-0 at half time was a mystery to all those braving the rain. But early in the second half, Jamie Batchelor smashed home the equaliser.
Philbert Arko and Francis Ketter added further goals to give the squad a well deserved win.
