The following advice has been received from Leamington Football Club regarding tomorrow evening’s Playoff Semi-Final at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium.
Parking will be extremely limited at the ground, and with no on-street parking available nearby, Slough Town Football Club would encourage Rebels supporters to use the supporters’ coaches provided by Slough Town Supporters Trust, or to car-share.
MATCH ARRANGEMENTS – SLOUGH TOWN FC
With a large attendance anticipated for Wednesday’s Semi-Final Playoff match versus Slough Town FC, we are asking supporters of both sides to help with travel and parking by using the Free ‘Park N Ride’ Bus Service, or by car sharing or using the Brakes Trust Mini-bus service.
For those coming to the Phillips 66 Community Stadium for the first time, please note that although there is ‘ONSITE’ parking for approximately 450 vehicles, there is NO alternative ‘on street parking’, as we are located on a busy country road with no pavements and surrounded by farmland.
We ask all supporters attending the game to either arrive a little bit earlier than usual or give themselves additional time to utilise the FREE Park N Ride service. PRIORITY will be given to departure of the free ‘Park n Ride’ bus services from the stadium site at the conclusion of the match.
FREE PARK & RIDE
Bus services will operate as scheduled below:
Leamington Rail Station (18:40, 18:50, 19:10, 19:20)
Windmill Inn, Tachbrook Road, Leamington (18:43, 18:53, 19:13, 19:23)
Heathcote Pub, Tachbrook Road, Leamington (18:45, 18:55, 19:15, 19:25)
Phillips 66 Community Stadium (18:50, 19:00, 19:20, 19:30)
Please note that the collection point at the railway station is on the main road at the front of the station whilst at the Windmill Inn it is adjacent to the pub car park entrance and at the Heathcote Pub it is directly outside the pub on the opposite side of Tachbrook Road to the pub.
The Free ‘Park N Ride’ buses will both depart the stadium site approximately 10 minutes (or earlier if full) after the conclusion of the match (approx 21:45) and will make a further journey at 22:15. These return journeys will be delayed by either 30 minutes in event of extra-time and 45 minutes if we have extra-time and penalties.
CAR SHARE
We ask all supporters parking at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium to assist us by car sharing where possible. We also ask that if you are being collected by car or taxi after the match that those vehicles arrive either before 9.30pm or after 10.00pm. PRIORITY will be given to vehicles exiting the site.
BRAKES TRUST MINI-BUS SERVICE
The Supporters Trust is operating a free mini-bus service with various collection points across Warwick and Leamington. For full details of their schedule visit their website www.brakestrust.com. They will also provide a ‘sweeper’ service if necessary to support contingency arrangements.
MATCH ARRANGEMENTS
Supporters can gain entry to the ground from 6.15pm which allows access to the clubhouse and bar. Hot drinks and confectionery are available at a pitch-side unit situated 20 yards to your left after you pass through the main turnstiles located at the clubhouse end of the ground. Hot food and drinks are available at the pitch-side mobile catering unit located at the clubhouse end of the pitch on the same side as the team dugouts.
There will be no segregation in place for this game. There is an area of covered terracing at both ends of the ground and we will operate a ‘stewarded rotation’ of fans for those who wish to be at the end their respective teams are attacking. Please listen to PA announcements for directed movement of supporters. We thank you for your co-operation.
