Do you know anyone who can spare some time before, during or after Rebels home matches to help them run smoothly?
The Rebels regularly attract crowds in excess of 600, and a huge amount of work from a small number of people goes into organising matchdays at Arbour Park. We have people in place to fill key roles, but now more than ever we need a pool of volunteers who are prepared to help us have the matchday experience we want.
This is your club and we need your help – it makes all the difference to us.
Listed below are a number of positions we require assistance with. If you are willing to lend a hand, email Kay Lathey (gensec@sloughtownfc.net) or speak with a steward or committee member on a matchday.
Traffic marshal – Help in Arbour Park and/or Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy car parks, controlling the entry or vehicles and assisting with parking (required between the hours of 13:00 – 15:00)
Front of house – Act as first point of contact at the players/officials entrance to welcome guests (12:15 – 14:45)
Tea bar – Help to make hot drinks and serve supporters in the tea bar run by Slough Town FC on the ground floor of the West Stand (13:30 – 16:15)
Gate operators – Operate the turnstiles and take admission fees from supporters (13:30 – 15:00)
Programme seller – Roam around Arbour Park, selling programmes to supporters (14:00 – 15:15)
Gate marshal – Take responsibility to stand in proximity of gates and open them in the event of an emergency or if a supporter needs to exit the facility (15:00 – 17:00)
Rebels Radio – Join the broadcast team and act as co-commentator on Rebels Radio (14:45 – 16:50)
