With our last two Saturday fixtures postponed due to the weather, we look forward to the visit of Merthyr Town to Arbour Park this weekend.
Merthyr have had a difficult few months having lost some key players as a result of their financial situation, but manager Gavin Williams and a good number of players have stayed loyal to the club and to their credit they have remained very competitive with some good results in the past month. We watched them at Farnborough two weeks ago and will not be underestimating them in the slightest.
Mark Nisbet has been carrying a slight knee injury in recent weeks and having spoken with him this week we have taken the decision to give him a little time to recover fully and he will not be included in the squad for this game.
Simon Dunn remains sidelined with a knee ligament injury but has stepped up his recovery work and is a couple of weeks away.
On a more positive note we welcome back George Wells following a toe injury whilst Gav James and Harrison Gilkes will continue to get valuable game time at Met Police and Andover respectively.
Our 16 man squad will therefore be as follows:
Jack Turner, Nathan Smart, Sean Fraser, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Alan Inns, Lee Togwell, Nathan Webb, Matt Lench, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Manny Williams, Ben Harris, Chris Flood, Brad Wadkins.
