Looking Ahead: Frome Town

Neil Baker provides an update ahead of another home Evo-Stik South Premier fixture tomorrow (Saturday).

09/03/18

We welcome Frome Town to Arbour Park as we play them for the first time this season, and we know what a tough game we will be in for as on their day they are more than capable of beating any team in the league.

We only really have the two injury problems in Ben Harris, who we hope will be back in the squad for next week, and Harrison Gilkes who has been pushed back a couple of weeks with an ankle injury.

Alan Inns managed to fully train last night and will remain an option for us between now and the end of the season, unless he gets called for his operation on his ankle.

Josh Jackman will be getting a 90 minutes tomorrow for Godalming after a slight injury so that we can get him match sharp, and will be back with us on Tuesday night.

Also, Gavin James will be playing for Met Police tomorrow and will then go and get a number of games for Thatcham after that.

It has been a tough season for Gav with a few injuries and then people in front of him in the pecking order, and after an honest conversation last night we have agreed that it will be best for him to go out and get a number of games on a dual registration basis, but with him staying on a Southern League form so that if needed and it is right for him he will come back and play.

We will go with the following 15 man squad tomorrow.

Jack Turner, Nathan Smart, Sean Fraser, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Alan Inns, Matthew Lench, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Lee Togwell, Simon Dunn, Chris Flood, Manny Williams and Perry Coles.
