Looking Ahead: Dunstable Town

Slough Town are preparing for their sixth consecutive away match, a trip to Dunstable tomorrow (Good Friday).

29/03/18

After Tuesday's tough trip to Weymouth we dust ourselves down and get ready to go again tomorrow at Dunstable.

Our opponents have obviously had a difficult season which is not surprising given their zero budget, but it's credit to their players and management that they have remained mostly competitive this season and still have a good chance of avoiding the drop. They will be fighting for their lives tomorrow but so will we, for different reasons, and we will be looking for another professional performance like we've given at St Ives and Basingstoke recently.

We will again travel with 15 players with Manny Williams replacing Simon Dunn in the squad from Tuesday.

Over the course of the next week we will get a better idea of the recovery time for both Dunny and Ben Harris as they are both similar injuries to what they have had already this season and we obviously have everything crossed that they will return before the end of the season.

Chris Flood is making good progress and (baby permitting) we hope to see him on Monday to assess him further. He had targeted the Chesham game for a potential return but we think next Wednesday or Saturday might be more realistic.

Harrison Gilkes is due to train with Andover tonight with a view to being involved with them on Saturday.

Squad: Jack Turner, Sean Fraser, Josh Jackman, Nathan Smart, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Mark Nisbet, Matt Day, Lee Togwell, Scott Davies, Matt Lench, Warren Harris, James Dobson, Manny Williams, Perry Coles.
