After a winter break the PALS have been back in BOBi League 1 action, sadly losing five straight games, continuing the poor form from the end of last year.
However our performances are improving as we adjust to this higher level of football, against older, experienced and physically much stronger opposition.
Most of the goals we concede tend to stem from our own mistakes and we will continue to work on this, whilst introducing new young players. Our biggest problem is the fact we have only scored four goals in 20 games!
Isaac Okine, Owen Gareppo and Gary Sherriff made their competitive debuts and they can only benefit from the experience, as we look towards re-building for next season.
On a more positive note, March saw us enter a second team in the BOBi Conference Division, achieving two wins and a draw from their opening seven matches.
We have been invited to take part in 7-a-side tournament at the Madjeski Stadium next Saturday (7th April), before the Reading v Preston game.
Alan Meredith has obtained his FA Coaching Licence, whilst we welcome Alex Efthimiou to the support team, as our numbers continue to grow each month.
