Tough Totton tie for Tuesday's replay victors
Written by Matt Webb
Today's FA Cup draw brings the potential of a trip to Southern League leaders AFC Totton.
Slough Town will face a tough trip to Hampshire-based AFC Totton in the Fourth Qualifying Round, should the Rebels overcome Hanworth Villa in tomorrow's (Tuesday) Third Qualifying Round replay.
The Rebels and Villains will battle it out for the right to face the current leaders of the Evo-Stik (Southern) Premier division. The 'Stags' have won nine of their twelve league fixtures so far, losing the other three. Totton have reached this stage after beating Clevedon Town (2-1) and Weymouth (4-2). A large attendance could be expected at the newly-built Testwood Stadium.
Slough's last meeting with AFC Totton was in March 2009, the Stags winning 4-2 in the Southern Division One South & West league.
The Rebels last reached the Fourth Qualifying Round in 2004, memorably beating Salisbury City at Stag Meadow before going on to defeat League One Walsall in the First Round Proper, and miss out on a home game against Newcastle United after being defeated by Yeading in the Second Round.
Kick-off at Rectory Meadows, Hanworth for the replay is 7:45pm.
