Jacko re-joins the Rebels
Written by Matt Webb
Goalkeeper Jamie Jackson has re-joined his home-town club.
Popular goalkeeper Jamie Jackson has re-joined Slough Town from Burnham.
Local lad Jamie, 33, has made 89 appearances for the Rebels in his career, and was with the club back in the Conference days, but had to wait until January 2007 to make his debut for his home-town club.
He won the 2008/09 Player of the season and Players' player of the season awards following a difficult time for the club.
Jamie, who has also played for Hemel Hempstead, helped Slough into the 2009/10 Southern League Division One Central playoff final at Chesham. He left Slough in the summer of 2011 to seek first-team football at local rivals Burnham, following Steve Bateman's signing of Steve Smith, but returns to provide help with coaching as well as cover for current number one James Warrington, and help his home-town club challenge for promotion.
