An update on the Reserves squad ahead of the new season

With reserve team numbers hitting 50 for pre-season training we have a good bank of players available for selection.
With 80% of those training having come from Slough we are able to select and work with our home grown local talent.
I have been impressed with the number of young players who have stepped forward from various youth teams and academies.
I am very pleased that James Hawtree, Alfie Clark, Joe Blount, Tayo Awoderu, Jerome Booth & James Quinn (formerly of Torquay United) have all made appearances in our friendly pre-season matches to date.
To date, the Reserves have played two pre-season warm up games, first a 5-5 draw at Cookham Dean, followed by a 7-2 win over Chalvey. Reports on these games can be found in the Reserves section of the Official Website.
