Bateman adds to squad ahead of Guildford visit

Bateman adds three new faces to the squad.

Steve Bateman has added further names to his squad ahead of the visit of Guildford City tonight (Tuesday).

Young forward Omar Vassell, who featured prominently in Slough's pre-season matches, has signed registration forms. He played in the same Walton Casuals team as James Warrington and Alex Brown, and has also featured for Northwood.

Bateman has also signed goalkeeper Simon Grant as cover for short-term absentee Warrington. Grant spent last season at AFC Hayes, and played in both 1-1 draws between the two sides.

Finally, striker Edward Smith joins having previously played for Metropolitan Police, Chertsey Town and Fleet Town.
