Slough add three more to squad

Slough Town have secured the signing of a further three players ahead of the new season.

20/07/13

We are now in the position to announce three further signings for the 2013/14 season.

Firstly Ollie Burgess has agreed to rejoin for the following season. He has come back for pre season and worked really hard and obviously with a number of goals, has fitted in nicely with the way we want to play, and has really impressed us. He obviously has excellent pedigree and will provide even more competition in the middle of the park as well as on the right side of midfield.

The next signing is Ben Edwards, who has followed us over from Godalming. Ben is a defensive midfield player who often goes under the radar when it comes to supporters, however he is highly rated by his fellow players. He helps us break the game up and protect the back four which is imperative in the way we play. He is another top lad who will provide competition in midfield, whilst he is very versatile allowing him to play at both left and right back and on both wings.

Wes Harrison also follows us over. He is another player who is very versatile, and can play anywhere across the back and also up front. He has had a good career in non league football, and is very strong and quick, and most wingers find it very tough to get past him. His previous clubs include Leatherhead, Sutton United, Fleet Town, and Walton and Hersham.

We are delighted with these signings, all of whom will add to the quality of the squad this season. There are still others that we will announce over the next week or so.
