Looking Ahead: Banbury United

Neil Baker provides an update ahead of the Southern League clash with Banbury United.

15/08/14

We welcome Banbury tomorrow to Holloways Park, after the tough midweek journey to Hereford, which now looks like it might have been in vain.

We have no new injury concerns from the first 2 games, so enter the game with only Luke Knight (who we hope to be fit for next weekend), Adam Foulser (knee) and Warren Harris missing through injury.

Warren is a concern at the moment, we have had MRI scan results back and are a little inconclusive, however there could be long term damage, however we will now not know until he has been seen by a knee consultant, which will hopefully be shortly, we will keep everyone in the loop on this as soon as we get any news.

We welcome Eddie Smith and Sean Fraser back from suspension and holiday, however Eddie was unable to train last night due to a slight groin niggle, so will have a fitness test tomorrow.

We will have a squad of 18 tomorrow of which we can only pick 16, the reason why we will not have others out getting games, is it is FA Cup weekend, plus we will also be having the squad picture.

The only player missing will be Seb Castello, as we have given Badshot Lea permission to play him in the FA Cup this year, as we anticipate that he will be with them for a while, getting valuable experience.

Squad from :
Somerville, Moran, Fraser, Hollis, Yorke, R Parsons, Dobson, Witham, J Parsons, Frith, Short, McClurg, Edwards, Dyer, Thomas, S Harris, Smith, Cornell.
