Looking Ahead: Weymouth

Rebels Joint Manager Jon Underwood looks ahead to the Weymouth match on Non-League Day.

05/09/14

Slough Town make their first ever trip to the Bob Lucas Stadium on Saturday as they take part in their first competitive fixture against Weymouth FC. Ahead of the clash, Jon Underwood took some time to provide Rebels supporters with a squad update.

"Saturday's trip to Weymouth is one we are very much looking forward to having worked so hard last season to get promotion and earn the right to play in these types of games. Weymouth are a strong established club at this level now with a great history, a proper old non-league ground and clearly a very good side who have started the season well.

We have worked hard in training this week and are pleased to welcome Eddie Smith and Johnnie Dyer back in to the squad which gives us a real boost and plenty of attacking options. Guy Hollis also returns having been away last weekend although he had a tightness in his groin tonight which we are hoping will not be a problem come Saturday. Luke Knight unfortunately misses out having having felt a pull in his groin last weekend which is obviously very frustrating for him and us but we are hopeful he will return for the cup game next weekend."

The 15 man squad is as follows:

Somerville, Fraser, Moran, Hollis, Yorke, R.Parsons, McClurg, Short, Frith, Witham, Dobson, Dyer, Smith, Cornell, Thomas.
