Looking Ahead: Chippenham Town

Jon Underwood provides squad news ahead of tonight's visit of Chippenham.

25/11/14

Tonight we face Chippenham Town in the second game of our important run of four home league matches in the space of two weeks.

We started this run well on Saturday with a hard-fought 2-1 win against an improving Hitchin side (who went on to beat Dunstable 3-2 last night) despite not being at our best and we know we will need to play much better tonight if we are to have a chance of taking all three points again.

Our visitors may sit seven places below us in 15th but due to the tight nature of the league could actually go above us if they won their two games in hand. We have watched them already this season and have other scouting reports so we know they are a very difficult team to play against and we expect nothing less than another very competitive game against yet another strong Southern Premier side.

In terms of team news for the game, we are pleased to report that we have no injury concerns and therefore expect to have a full 17 man squad to pick from. We do have one player who has a slight issue with work but we expect him to be able to arrive in time to take his place in the starting line-up.

Squad as follows: Somerville, Fraser, R Parsons, Hollis, Yorke, Jeffreys, Moran, Edwards, McClurg, Sear, Knight, Rumbold, J Parsons, Dobson, Harris, Smith, Dyer.
