We are delighted to announce that midfielder Adam Martin has agreed to join us from Cambridge City.
Adam is a player we never wanted to lose when we came to the club 18 months ago but at that time he had the chance to join Wealdstone in the league above and understandably he wanted to take that opportunity. We have kept a close eye on him ever since and he is a player we always hoped we could tempt back to the club at some point when the time was right.
With Leigh Rumbold leaving for New Zealand after the Burnham game on 3rd January we were keen to bring in a like for like replacement and feel that Adam is the perfect fit and have no doubts that he is going to be a very important player for us.
Adam will train with his new team mates on Monday but unfortunately will be suspended for the Hungerford and Burnham games due to an accumulation of bookings.
We are sure all the Rebels fans will join us in welcoming Adam back to the club for what we are hoping will be an exciting second half of the season!
