Looking Ahead: Weymouth

Joint manager Jon Underwood looks ahead to this weekends home fixture against Weymouth

15/01/15

With the recent postponements due to poor weather Slough will look to return to action at home to Weymouth.

The two sides met back in September at The Bob Lucas Stadium on "Non-League Day", with the 'Terras' gaining all three points. Slough will look to entertain Weymouth with a much changed side from that day, 6 of the squad from the earlier fixture now having moved onto pastures new.

Ahead of this weekends fixture joint manager Jon Underwood commented:

"We welcome league leaders Weymouth to Holloways Park this weekend for what should be a cracking game. Our visitors will be looking to bounce back from a 4-2 home defeat on Tuesday against Paulton Rovers which ended a fantastic 13 match unbeaten run in the league. They are a side we have a huge amount of respect for and we will have to be at our very best for this one.

We are delighted to confirm that the issues around Luke Williams' contract with Hereford have been resolved and he is available to make his debut in goal on Saturday. Adam Martin also joins the squad for the first time now that he has served his suspension.

Adrian Sear unfortunately misses out due to an ankle injury picked up in training last weekend and we are also without Jamie McClurg who will be out for the forseeable future after a scan on his knee confirmed ligament damage.

As announced earlier today Luke Knight has joined St Ives and we wish him all the very best and thank him for his efforts this season."

Squad as follows: Luke Williams, Sean Fraser, Ryan Parsons, Guy Hollis, Billy Jeffreys, Reece Yorke, Tom Moran, Ben Edwards, Adam Martin, Jake Parsons, James Dobson, Eddie Smith, Johnnie Dyer, Scott Harris, Oscar Betts.
