Cambridge City visit Holloways Park tomorrow (Saturday), with Slough looking to rediscover their goalscoring touch and get some points on the board.
Slough have scored just once in their last six league games. Visitors Cambridge City, meanwhile, sit in 17th place and have won just once in their last 12 league games. They were defeated by Redditch United on Wednesday evening, with Slough also having been on the receiving end of a 4-0 defeat against the same opponents last weekend.
Joint manager Jon Underwood provided the following update ahead of the match:
"We look forward to the game with Cambridge City tomorrow after a couple of disappointing results and everyone is firmly focused on a positive performance as we look to get back to winning ways.
"We have some very positive team news in that we welcome back club skipper Adam Foulser who has been out for a year and also Jamie McClurg, our designated captain at the start of this season, who has missed the past 3 months with a knee injury. Both came through a training match this week with no problems (and obviously 'Fouls' appeared briefly as a substitute last weekend) and are very welcome additions to a strong 16 man squad.
"Also included in the squad is forward Dan Read who joined this week from Egham and Reece Yorke who returns after missing last weekend's game through illness.
"Adam Martin misses the second of his three games through suspension, Searsy remains a few weeks away from a return and we have taken the decision to allow Gurkan Gokmen to get 90 minutes with Knaphill in the Combined Counties League to provide him with further match fitness.
Squad: Luke Williams, Sean Fraser, Ryan Parsons, Adam Foulser, Guy Hollis, Reece Yorke, Billy Jeffreys, Tom Moran, Ben Edwards, George Short, Jamie McClurg, Jake Parsons, James Dobson, Eddie Smith, Scott Harris, Dan Read.
