Looking Ahead: Corby Town

Joint manager Jon Underwood provides an update ahead of this week's midweek fixture at home to table-topping Corby Town.

23/03/15

Following Saturday's morale-boosting win at Cirencester we are very much looking forward to another big test tomorrow as we welcome the new league leaders Corby Town to Holloways Park.

Our opponents are in superb form and following Saturday's results they are now very much in a title race with Poole and are set for an exciting end to the season.

Back at the beginning of October we picked up one of the best results of our season so far with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Corby and if we are to get a result like that tomorrow we know we are going to have to play even better than we did that night as Tommy Wright's side have really improved since then and will be full of confidence after their 1-0 win at Redditch on Saturday.

We are in pretty good shape squad-wise with the only concern from Saturday being Jamie McClurg. We are having to be careful with him at the moment as he has only just come back from a 3 month spell on the sidelines and we will have to see how his knee is after getting through a tough 90 minutes on Saturday so will be making a late decision on this.

Squad as follows: Luke Williams, Sean Fraser, Ryan Parsons, Guy Hollis, Reece Yorke, Tom Moran, Adam Martin, Jamie McClurg, Liam Malone, George Short, Ben Edwards, Jake Parsons, Gurkan Gokmen, Chris Henry, Eddie Smith, Scott Harris, Dan Read.
