Looking Ahead: Dunstable Town

Neil Baker provides his thoughts ahead of Saturday's trip to Creasey Park, home of Dunstable Town.

10/04/15

Slough travel to Dunstable tomorrow (Saturday), looking to start a good run to end the season with.

Dunstable sit comfortably in 13th place after being promoted with Slough last season, and like the Rebels, will be hoping to finish the season well.

Neil Baker provided the following update:

"We make the relatively short journey to Dunstable looking to exact revenge for our 3-0 defeat earlier in the season.

"Dunstable, like ourselves, have had an up and down season and have realised how tough and unforgiving this league can be.

"Unfortunately we go into the game with a number of issues; Scott Harris and Jake Parsons start their 3 game bans, which if the Banbury game is replayed should see them both available for the last game of the season, whilst Reece Yorke’s yellow card against St Neots means he has accumulated 10 bookings, and will therefore miss the 3 games from the red card at Hitchin and a further two games for the accumulation (total 5 game ban).

"We still have concerns over Jamie McClurg and will not know until the day if he will make it, whilst Adrian Sear, Adam Foulser and Warren Harris remain on the casualty list.

"Billy Jeffreys, George Short and Gurkan Gokmen should all come back into the reckoning following injury and illness, whilst we may also call on young Joe Grant, an 18 year old striker who we dual signed before the transfer deadline from Ascot United, however an injury last weekend playing for Ascot may mean he won’t be fit either.

"Therefore the squad will be picked from the following:

Luke Williams, Sean Fraser, Ryan Parsons, Tom Moran, Guy Hollis, Billy Jeffreys, Gurkan Gokmen, Chris Henry, Adam Martin, Ben Edwards, George Short, Jamie McClurg, Oscar Betts, Eddie Smith, Dan Read and Joe Grant.
