Looking Ahead: Frome Town

Neil Baker provides squad news ahead of the final home game of the season on Saturday.

17/04/15

Slough's final home league game of the season is against Frome Town tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

The Rebels drew 1-1 with the Somerset side back in December, with Scott Harris heading an equaliser after Slough fell behind ten minutes into the second half.

Neil Baker provided the following update ahead of the game:

"We enter our final home league game of the season against a Frome side who still need points to stay up, so we know this will be a very tricky encounter.

"We still have our three out suspended (Scott Harris, Jake Parsons, Reece Yorke), however with the Banbury game to be replayed, both Jake and Scott will be available for the last game of the season against Dorchester.

"Jamie McClurg (knee) and Adrian Sear (ankle) are still not fully over their injuries, and therefore there is no point pushing them this season, also George Short looks like he may have Gilmores groin, which is why he has not really played much part in the last few games. If this is diagnosed he will need an operation in the summer, however he did train tonight and will be able to play a part if needed in the last three games.

"Warren Harris trained fully tonight and looked like he had not even been away, which was really positive news. In reality he could probably play a part in the last three games, however we will not do this and will just get him right for next season now. Also Adam Foulser has had really positive news from the specialist after his first session - his glutes are starting to respond already, and they believe he will be at 100% for pre-season also, and by doing what he is doing this should put his hamstring problems to bed too.

"With the numbers we have, we have asked Johnnie Dyer to re-join the squad for Saturday, which he has agreed to, which is great news.

"Therefore the squad will be from the following:

Luke Williams, Sean Fraser, Tom Moran, Guy Hollis, Billy Jeffreys, Ryan Parsons, Gurkan Gokmen, Oscar Betts, Chris Henry, Adam Martin, Ben Edwards, George Short, Eddie Smith, Dan Read and Johnnie Dyer.
