After a disappointing week in the league we are very much looking forward to the challenge ahead tomorrow in the FA Cup as we travel to Basingstoke Town from the Conference South.
On the injury front both Guy Hollis and Nathan Webb had to come off on Tuesday night and neither trained last night. We are confident Guy will be fit but can only rate Nathan as 50/50 at this moment in time. New signing Jhai Dhillon picked up a knee problem on Tuesday and although he managed to complete the game this flared up on Wednesday and he had to miss training last night and will face a fitness test tomorrow. Dan Hicks is cup tied having already played in the competition for Marlow.
On the positive side Adrian Sear completed the full session last night and Stuart Lake will return to the squad to give us a further option. We also welcome a new signing in midfielder Ryan Hope who trained with the squad last night. Ryan came through the Watford academy system before joining Boreham Wood. He impressed at the end of last season on loan at Harrow Borough, helping to keep them in the Ryman Premier, before spending pre-season with Wealdstone. Having not been able to break in to their starting line up however he became available and agreed to join us this week.
