Looking Ahead: Bideford

Slough play host to Bideford tomorrow (Saturday), with the Rebels looking to get their season back on track.

02/10/15

We welcome Bideford tomorrow in what is an important game to try and get back on track.

Unfortunately, after the above interview was recorded last night we had Jhai Dhillon recalled by Hayes & Yeading at 10pm which is a big blow, especially as after having had the conversation with him that day, he said he would only be returning if he was starting for them on Saturday, and having not been involved in one minute for them this season, we all thought this would be highly unlikely.

However this is the case and we need to move on. We are working extremely hard to try and bring in a replacement, though we are working with very little time.

In other team news Nathan Webb is still out injured, whilst Jake Parsons had a re-occurrence of his knee injury and will need a scan and probably an operation, so we believe we will be lucky to see him this side of Christmas. Warren Harris has a toe injury and is a doubt, plus Scott Harris hurt his thigh in training last night. Warren and Scott will both face fitness tests tomorrow.

Luke Williams has also gone on a dual registration to Metropolitan Police for the next four weeks, and will go straight into their team on Saturday.

In other news Charlie Mpi has been declared fit after his mild concussion suffered at Basingstoke, and Charlie Strutton will make his debut. We will also try to bring one or two players in to cover the injuries, though at this stage cannot confirm anything.

As managers we urge everyone to get behind the team tomorrow.

Squad from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Gary MacDonald, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, TBC, Stuart Lake, Lewis Putman, Gurkan Gokmen, Warren Harris, Adrian Sear, Ryan Hope, Adam Martin, Charlie Mpi, Charlie Strutton, Scott Harris.
