Following last night’s game Justin Clayton has agreed to join us permanently from Hayes and Yeading, and will give us the extra competition we need at centre back.
He is actually unavailable this weekend due to a pre-arranged family event, however he will be back in the squad for the Cambridge City game. Justin is another local lad who is hungry to prove himself at this level and we welcome him to the club.
We also received good news today that Leigh Rumbold's international clearance is confirmed so he can be included in the squad for Saturday.
We have taken the decision today to release Adam Martin. With Adrian Sear, Ryan Hope, Nathan Webb and now Rummy we feel we are very strong in that department and have the right balance of youth and experience, quality and work-rate. Obviously we have Declan Benjamin on loan for the next four league games and we are hoping to see Nathan back in training next week and available for the Cambridge game next weekend.
We wish Adam all the very best and thank him for his efforts in a Rebels shirt.
