Looking Ahead: Frome Town

Neil Baker gives an update and his thoughts ahead of Slough's FA Trophy fixture away at Frome Town.

13/11/15

We travel to Frome in an important FA Trophy game off the back of an excellent 6-3 victory against Marlow.

In terms of team news, Adrian Sear and Eddie Smith are both unavailable, also new signing Kensley Maloney is cup-tied. Unfortunately Guy Hollis suffered a kick on his foot at training last night and will now need a fitness test, and added to that Gurkan Gokmen has a tight hamstring and is also another doubt after not being able to train last night.

Due to the time scales of a player needing to be signed on by midday today (Friday) for an FA Trophy game (and not the four hours before a game in the Southern League), we have been unable to bring anyone else in at such short notice.

However even if both Guy and Gurkan do not pass fitness tests, we are still very confident with the side that we will be putting out, and are looking forward to playing a rejuvenated Frome team, hopefully trying to progress to the next round of the Trophy.

Squad from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Jhai Dhillon, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, Justin Clayton, Warren Harris, Lewis Putman, Gurkan Gokmen, Oscar Betts, Ryan Hope, Leigh Rumbold, Nathan Webb, Scott Harris, Charlie Strutton and Charlie Mpi.
