Looking Ahead: Stratford Town

Joint manager Jon Underwood catches up with Rebels Radio's John Porter to look ahead to Stratford Town's visit.

20/11/15

It's back to league action tomorrow as we welcome Stratford Town to Holloways Park and it will be nice to be back home after spending the last four weeks on the road.

We are on an excellent run at home having won our last four league games and another three points would be crucial if we are to maintain our place in the top half of this very competitive league.

Back in August in the reverse fixture we scored a dramatic late equaliser to earn a point which we felt we deserved having been outplayed in the first half but the more dominant side in the second. There was little between the sides on that day and we expect another tough game here today.

The team news is mainly positive with Adrian Sear and Eddie Smith returning to the squad having been unavailable last weekend, while Lewis Putman has recovered from the ankle injury that forced him off in the first half at Frome. The one doubt is Guy Hollis whose ankle injury is taking longer than we had hoped to heal and he did not train last night so we will make a late decision on him before the game.

Squad (from): Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Jhai Dhillon, Guy Hollis, Justin Clayton, Dan Hicks, Nathan Webb, Adrian Sear, Leigh Rumbold, Ryan Hope, Warren Harris, Lewis Putman, Gurkan Gokmen, Scott Harris, Charlie Mpi, Charlie Strutton, Eddie Smith.
