Slough Town Youth round-up

A round-up of the action from the various Slough Town Youth sections this weekend.

22/11/15

The U10s played out a closely fought game today in the first Burnham Junior/Slough Town clash of the day. Well done lads.

The U11 Rebels came back from three goals down before half time but sadly couldn't quite pull off a victory in what was a goal-fest for both sides.

The U11 Youth team went ahead in the first half but sadly couldn't hold on to the lead in another Burnham/Slough contest. They dug in deep in the second half, holding onto the draw with some solid defending and an awesome performance by both keepers.

It was a win-win situation for Slough Town today in the U12 fixtures as the Rebels took on the Youth team. The Rebels won 5-1 with two goals from Ellis Boyles and Jake Bone, and one from Bubba. Good game boys, you played well. Keep up the good work.

The U13s had to dig deep to maintain their winning ways in the B&B Minors Cup today. With the boys winning 3-1, an injury to the keeper Nojus Trinovas turned the game on its head and Maidenhead managed to equalise just before full time. The boys showed incredible character in extra time and Philbert Arko scored the winning goal. Other goals came from Alex Lopez, Tom King and a wonder strike from David Martin.

After a great first half in which U14s could have gone in a couple of goals up, they instead went in at 0-0. Unfortunately the boys ran out of puff and eventually lost 7-0. There were good performances from Abdimalik Ahmed and Isa Ishaq but the man of the match was Iggy Jonaitis.

The U16s had this weekend off.
