We have mutually agreed with 'JJ' that the situation with him and the travelling was probably not going to work, and he left the club yesterday.
Living in Leicester, training was always going to be an issue with getting there for every session, and as managers that is not ideal to work with. I have to say the lad is extremely professional however, and was prepared to try it, though myself and Jon just felt that long term it would not work, especially if for example he was out the team.
The facts are we have Searsy, Ryan Hope (who will be back from suspension after next game) Nathan Webb and Rummy, plus the addition of Paul Coyne who is a local lad, so it just made sense, as it has us well covered in midfield.
Sometimes you cannot always see what is around the corner in football, and this is one situation, however we would like to go on record and thank JJ for his contribution in his short time with us.
