Tomorrow sees us return to league action after another two week enforced break, and we hope that the weather will be kinder for the remaining months of the season.
Bedworth are the visitors, and will be buoyant after an excellent 3-2 victory against Weymouth last weekend.
In terms of this week we have managed to get two excellent sessions on the 3G, and all injury concerns have been cleared up; Thursday night in particular was very lively with everyone fit and able to train.
In terms of the squad, Scott Harris will go and play a game for Ashford Town (Middlesex) on Saturday, as he himself has not had lots of football in recent months, and with Charlie (Mpi) leaving after the Dorchester game we feel another 90 minutes under his belt will help him and us for the remainder of the season.
Warren Harris is fit to play after his groin strain, and Eddie Smith will also rejoin the squad after getting 90 minutes and two goals for Ascot last week.
Coyney is coming along very nicely, and will again play for Ascot this weekend, however his sharpness is really coming on, and he looked very good in training last night.
I have to thank Jeff Lamb at Ascot who is helping with the fitness of a number of our players by giving them game time; obviously it benefits them as a team, however he has to juggle his side about to get our players minutes, which he has done on numerous occasions, something other managers will not always do.
Squad will be from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Jhai Dhillon, Dan Hicks, Guy Hollis, Lewis Putman, Gurkan Gokmen, Warren Harris, Leigh Rumbold, Nathan Webb, Ryan Hope, Charlie Mpi, Lee Barney and Eddie Smith.
