Looking Ahead: Cirencester Town

Following a great win at Dorchester on Saturday, Slough head to Cirencester on Tuesday in good spirits.

15/02/16

After a great win at Dorchester on Saturday we will head to Cirencester tomorrow (Tuesday) in good spirits.

Our opponents sit one place and one point below us and we are expecting a very close game. Our recent form against them is good with a 1-0 win at home earlier in the season and towards the end of last season in the corresponding fixture we came out on top in an entertaining 5-3 win. We know we will need to put in another big performance tomorrow if we are to continue this run.

Charlie Mpi flies out to Dubai tomorrow to start his new job and we wish him well and hope to see him in a Rebels shirt again this season as he plans to return on some weekends. Also missing for this game is Sean Fraser who is away in Barcelona for a few days. Paul Coyne will come into the squad for tomorrow having recovered from illness and a slight groin strain.

We will therefore travel with a 15 man squad with the addition of Scott Harris who has played three games for Ashford in recent weeks to get some match fitness. We decided not to risk Leigh Rumbold on Saturday as his hamstring wasn't quite right and we will assess him again tomorrow before the game.

Squad: Mark Scott, Jhai Dhillon, Paul Stonehouse, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, Leigh Rumbold, Nathan Webb, Ryan Hope, Paul Coyne, Gurkan Gokmen, Warren Harris, Lewis Putman, Eddie Smith, Lee Barney, Scott Harris.
