Looking Ahead: Paulton Rovers

Slough prepare for the trip to Somerset to play Paulton Rovers tomorrow (Saturday).

26/02/16

We make the long journey to Paulton knowing that we will be in for a tough afternoon, with Paulton having won three of their last four home games, with wins against Biggleswade, Stratford and Hitchin.

Although they sit second from bottom their record since a new manager has come in has been very good, which now gives them an outside chance of surviving relegation, and the next three fixtures will dictate their future in the Southern Premier.

Having had them watched on Tuesday night, they will feel very unfortunate to have come away from Cirencester with no points, when they should have been at least three up at half time.

In terms of team news, Paul Stonehouse has been recalled a few days early from his loan period, as Oxford City have a number of injuries and suspensions. It is a shame that he went out on the Leamington game, as he was determined to put that right.

Paul Coyne is struggling with a hamstring/back issue, but other than that we are fully fit with Rummy having come through a full session on Thursday.

Squad from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Jhai Dhillon, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, Warren Harris, Lewis Putman, Gurkan Gokmen, Jake Parsons, Leigh Rumbold, Nathan Webb, Ryan Hope, Eddie Smith, Scott Harris and Lee Barney.
