We make the short journey down the M4 to Hungerford tonight looking to build on Saturday’s performance.
In terms of signings, we have signed 19 year old forward/winger Joe Grant from Ascot United on a dual registration, we have also resigned George Short on a dual registration as cover for midfield. His transfer forms are going through as we speak from Winchester, and he will also play games with Bracknell Town.
Subject to paperwork being received from the Southern League, both will join the squad tonight.
Also joining us this week on a dual basis from Badshot Lea and the Pulse Academy, is 6 foot 5, 17 year old central defender/left back Adam New, who has recently been on trial with Torquay and Scunthorpe. He will train with us between now and the end of the season and we will take a better look at him, and I would expect him to get his chance especially with Dan Hicks being away for three weeks after tonight and Guy Hollis being unavailable for Bideford.
Finally also signing Southern League forms will be central defender Brad Hewitt from Wingate and Finchley. A lot will know Brad from his time at Northwood and Beaconsfield, however he is recovering from a fractured hand and will have to have a minor operation this week, so it may only be the last week of the season that we get to see him.
In terms of tonight, Nathan Webb will have a late fitness test on his hamstring, other than that we are pretty similar to Saturday.
Sayo and Pritpal will both also train with us between now and the end of the season, and we will assess them further.
Squad from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Jhai Dhillon, Guy Hollis, Dan Hicks, Warren Harris, Lewis Putman, Jake Parsons, Gurkan Gokmen, Leigh Rumbold, Nathan Webb, Ryan Hope, George Short, Scott Harris, Lee Barney, and Joe Grant.
