We make the trip up to Cambridge City this weekend in the hope that we can build on last week’s important win against Chippenham.
Looking at the league table Cambridge are more than likely safe, however they still need 2 points to fully confirm this, so I am sure will be looking at Saturday as their opportunity to put it to bed.
In terms of squad news we will welcome back Guy Hollis from illness, Adam New from suspension and Dan Hicks from his holiday, and all will come into the squad, however Scott Harris still misses out.
We do lose Tom Williams for the last 3 games, as Tom has just been offered a pro contract in the US at Arizona United who play in the league below the MLS, this is a contract to run until the end of August, with the international clearance for him going through this week, thus making him ineligible for us this weekend.
Tom has made a positive contribution to us since he has been with us, and with living less than 2 minutes from the new ground we are in discussions with him about coming back and potentially taking on a player coaching role within the side next season, and this is something he is very keen on.
We have decided to take a 14 man squad to Cambridge which will be as follows:
Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Jhai Dhillon, Guy Hollis, Adam New, Dan Hicks, Lewis Putman, Gurkan Gokmen, Jake Parsons, Nathan Webb, Ryan Hope, Pritpal Raju, Lee Barney and Warren Harris
