Having had individual conversations with the players that finished the season last night, we can confirm that Jake Parsons and Jhai Dhillon will be leaving the club.
We would like to go on record and thank both players for their service to the club, in particular Jake Parsons who has been an excellent servant to Slough Town, and is one of life's good guys. Unfortunately a run of injuries has meant that we have probably not seen enough of his undoubted ability in the 3 years we have been managers, however we hope that he can get back on track at a club where he is going to get a regular run of games.
With regards to Jhai, whilst he has had some very good performances in a Slough shirt, he also travels a fair distance for games and training and we felt moving into the new season we would rely on someone a bit more local.
We wish them both the best of luck in their future footballing careers.
