Looking Ahead: Redditch United

Slough look to extend their good early season form against bogey side Redditch.

09/09/16

After the FA Cup game last week we again turn our attention to the league and our quest to put more points on the board away at Redditch.

Redditch have been a bogey side to us since we joined the Southern Premier, and if we are going to put that to bed we may have to do it the hard way, depending on a couple of things.

We will be without Nathan Webb this Saturday, and Josh Jackman for the next two weeks, due to pre arranged trips.

Adrian Sear picked up an injury on Tuesday playing for Godalming and will not be fit, add into that Simon Dunn who despite training at 75 per cent last night, is unlikely to be ready in time, and Guy Hollis whose Mum is in hospital, and again very unlikely to be available. Adam New is not an option either having fractured his wrist playing for Pulse Academy last week.

On the positive side we welcome back Lee Togwell and Gavin James, who both missed the last two games. Also, Lewis Putman and Mark Nisbet, who missed the FA Cup win against Chipstead due to a re-occurence of a groin injury and illness respectively, made it through training last night.

Therefore the squad will be from: Mark Scott, Sean Fraser, Paul Stonehouse, Brad Hewitt, Dan Hicks, Mark Nisbet, James Dobson, Lewis Putman, Warren Harris, Lee Togwell, Gurkan Gokmen, Charlie Moone, Lee Barney, Gavin James, Simon Dunn and Guy Hollis
