We welcomed the new-look U11s team to Slough, which features several of last year’s U10s and is bolstered by several new players joining us from a variety of clubs.
Following in the First Team's footsteps the lads are joint managed by Dean Russell and Adam Foulser, former First Team captain who we welcome back to the club.
The U12s got back to winning ways this week in the league after their County Cup loss last week. Goals from Joseph and Owen put the Rebels two ahead. Burnham Junior Yellows clawed it back to 2-2 but Steven managed to grab a late goal to secure the three points. Well done boys!
The U14s were made pay the price for missing a penalty and a hatful of good goal scoring opportunities on Sunday. In a very tight match Philbert Arko's strike gave Slough a first half lead. But it should have been more than a single goal separating the two teams and Gerrards Cross equalised with a ball that should have been cleared on several occasions. The visitors then took the lead with a mis-hit free kick that seemed to evade everyone.
Despite having good pressure, a combination of good goalkeeping and a goal line clearance meant that the boys lost 1-2.
