Striker Dan Read joined from Egham Town in March 2015.Read had previously played under the management of Jon Underwood and Neil Baker whilst at Godalming Town, and the striker was top scorer for the 'Gs' in his first season, notching 23 goals in the 2011/12 season after joining from Fleet Town in 2011.
After Baker and Underwood moved to Slough, Read trained and turned out for the Rebels in several pre-season friendlies, scoring against Sandhurst Town and Biggleswade Town, but was not signed for the 2013/14 season and returned to Godalming.
