Matthew Platt
Platt is a 24 year old striker who was part of the youth academy setup at Crewe Alexandra.

Matthew has also spent time in Iceland with IBV Vestmannaeyjar, where he played in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. He won the FA Vase with Nantwich and most recently was with Biddulph Victoria where he scored 24 goals last season.

Had a good debut for the club in the 5-0 win over Penn & Tylers Green despite not being able to get his name on the scoresheet. Platt's movement off the ball and intelligence with it, coupled with being a lethal finisher makes him an excellent partner for any striker.

Scored on his competitive debut for the club in a 2-2 draw with Burnham on the first day of the 2008/09 season.
