Andrew Deaner made a scoring return to the Slough line up as they played some excellent attacking football to beat Molesey.

Deaner opened the scoring in the 18th minute latching onto a long ball and converting at the far post.

Slough were looking much the better team and double their lead with nine minutes of the first half remaining as Miller finished from close range having been setup by a Boot chip.

Stern words must have been exchanged at half time between the home side as the start of the second half saw Molesey begin to get back into the game, but they never really looked like scoring.

Slough's profligacy, a curse of recent times, saw them fail to take a number of chances in the second half as Spencer, Boot, Miller and Hodges all missed the target before Miller added his second with 54 minutes gone.

Fosters long kick forwards was flicked on by Deaner allowing Miller to run on and lob the ball over the advancing keeper.

This was Slough's second away win from two games so far this season and the supporters will be hoping to see them record a win at home in the near future having picked up just a single point at Stag Meadow since their summer move.
