Slough travelled to Egham's Runnymede Stadium in the hope of continuing their recent good form and making it six wins in a row, a run which started in the reverse fixture just under a month ago.

Egham took the lead through a Baker free kick and the Rebels were struggling to get a foothold in the game on a very heavy pitch. Their first real chance saw them draw level as Haddow volleyed in midway through the half. Carbon beat his man on the right side and as the ball bobbled up, his cross went all the way over to the back post finding an unmarked Haddow to volley back across goal and into the bottom corner.

However, Egham restored their lead through Greene as he broke through and converted past Foster.

Despite being second best in the first half, it looked like a different side in the second half. Whatever was discussed at half time had a clear impact as the Rebels were firmly on top in the second half.

Slough drew level with Haddow's second of the game. Hodges was fouled just outside the area and just to the right of centre of the goal about 20 yards out. Haddow stepped up and curled the ball low around the wall and right into the corner.

Slough took the lead not long after when Harris found Boot in the area and he was able to convert despite a number of players in between the ball and goal. The hosts looked drained and Slough were able to control the remainder of the fixture and their recent form as placed them well to confirm a top six finish ahead of the end of the season.
