Nothing could seperate Slough Town and Bracknell Town as both sides played out a 0-0 draw for the second time this season in a match of few chances.

It was Slough who started quite brightly with debutant Steve Sinclair involved in much of the Rebels play early on.

But the first real chance of the game fell to Bracknell when Marvin Hong shot wide from the edge of the box following a short corner.

Just minutes later though Slough thought they could have been awarded a penalty when a cross from Sinclair found Danny Jordan at the near post. It seemed that Leon Henderson took Jordan's legs from underneath him only for the referee to wave away the penalty appeals.

Little action in terms of goal attempts was seen up until half-time which was when the Rebels looked most dangerous. Six minutes before the break a cross from Yashwa Romeo on the left was headed towards goal by top scorer Matthew Platt, only for former Burnham goalkeeper Max Aneke to dive full length to his right to keep the ball out.

From the resulting corner Robbie Kean crossed from the left with Dean Harper inches away from heading the ball in at the far post.

Just two minutes after the restart Bracknell had a great chance themselves. Hong found himself in space following a defensive mistake, but could not find Carl Lucas as Jamie Jackson came out to gather.

Despite dominating posession the Rebels were finding it hard to create chances against a Bracknell defence superbly marshsalled by Michael Buck, much like in the reverse fixture at Larges lane.

With the Rebels pushing men forward it was Bracknell who tried to hit Slough on the break with the pacey Nathan Jack and Abul Yoki.

It was the latter who had the Robins best chance of the second-half when he beat Chris Fermie only to shoot straight at goalkeeper Jackson.

As the match grew to a close Manager Steve Bateman threw on Byron Bubb and Roy Gumbs, but failed to create many more chances as the points were shared.
