Trialist Charlie Losasso scored twice as Slough were narrowly beaten by Carshalton Athletic in the third/fourth place playoff match at the Hendon Invitation Cup.
The Robins took the lead with five minutes played through Reiss Franklyn, but Slough equalised five minutes later with Losasso's first of the game.
On 18 minutes, Richard Ismail restored the lead for Carshalton, and the Robins took the advantage into the half time break.
Four minutes into the second half, Carshalton extended the lead further as Ismail bagged his second goal.
Slough pulled a goal back with Losasso's second on 77 minutes, but the Rebels could not force an equaliser.
Next up for Slough is a pre-season friendly against Beaconsfield SYCOB at Holloways Park on Tuesday evening.
