Slough played down a slope in the first half and racked up four goals - two of them own goals - putting this game beyond Ardley.
Ruben Diaz scored with a fantastic strike and Govin's excellent header put four goals to the good after 40 minutes.
Ardley pulled one back on the stroke of half time, but it was never likely to spark a comeback.
Slough were expecting a onslaught in the second period, with Ardley having the slope to their advantage, however Slough held strong and created a few chances of their own.
The game flowed from end to end, but no further goals were scored and the Rebels secured the win.
