Aylesbury 1-4 Slough Town

Slough scorers: Booth x2, Clark, Erskine-Moore

Date: 27-10-2011 | Competition: League

Slough U18s won convincingly at a ground where they lost last season in the league cup, having played Aylesbury already at home this season and drawing 2-2, Slough started strong and within 10 minutes Jerome got in between the goalkeeper and defender, nipped in and scored.

Slough were in total control with their defence holding strong. As half time approached Aylesbury were becoming more frustrated and one of their defenders received a second booking and was dismissed. So Slough applied more pressure and were rewarded with a second goal just before half time scored again by Jerome Booth.

Aylesbury regrouped and started to get into the match, even with 10 men they seemed more determined than in the 1st half. But it was Slough who got the important 3rd goal, Alfie Clark getting his first goal for Slough with a good move that allowed Clark to tap into the net.

Aylesbury were not done and within 5 mins got a goal back making it 1-3, but with 10 minutes to play Slough sealed a convincing win with Latif Erskine-Moore also grabbing his first goal for Slough.

Team: James Hawtree, Gary Andrews (c), Tayo Awoderu, Joseph Blount, Samuel Muzinga, Govind Chahal, Neville Rivelono, Konnor Saunders, Jerome Booth, Meridian Reason, Alfie Clarke Subs: Warren Browne, Munya Nheta, Latif Erskine-Moore, Leon Booth
