Holyport Reserves 2-3 Slough Town

Date: 10-08-2011 | Competition: Friendly

Slough Town under 18s ran out worthy winners in a friendly against Holyport.

The Holyport team included three members of the first team, with the rest reserves.

It was a hard-fought match, with Slough doing well to withstand some robust Holyport challenges, a good test for a tough season to come.

The Slough Town side, featuring some of last season’s players as well as some new additions - some only 15 years old - kept their discipline, played some good football, and emerged as worthy winners.

Mark Betts described himself as 'very pleased' with his team’s performance and is looking forward to the new season.
