A game of eight goals and a magnificent Rebels comeback which saw the Berkshire side two goals down approaching half time and also having lost two of their three starting centre backs due to injury.

The home side were in control of early proceedings and made their dominance count after just five minutes with a delightful curled effort past the unsighted Smith. An error led to their second allowing an easy finish, but Burnell got the Rebels on the scoresheet three minutes into first half injury time.

The second half saw the Rebels go at the home side with real purpose and two goals in the space of three minutes turned the game on its head. From there, Slough took control of the game and extended their lead through Sonner and Burnell with their second of the game each. The home side continued to press forward and forced a late consolation to reduce the deficit, but the damage had already been done.
